UPDATE: The Lexington is currently holding a crowdfunding campaign so it can reopen after the pressures of Covid. You can find out more here: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/save-the-lexington
Bourbon baby yeee-haaaa...if you like bourbon then look no further, cos Stacey who runs the Lexington has done her ground work (and trust me when I say you would not argue with her). They have something for everyone. With a music venue on the first floor and an antler/shotgun clad bar on the ground floor they've got it all going on. If you’re not down with the Shoreditch, trilby wearing kids listening to indie, then go elsewhere.
At the bar downstairs you’ll drink bourbons you never knew existed: from Fighting Cock to Old Grandad. Just beware the Georgia Moon..which is served by from a jam jar and sold by the swig. There’s plenty of Johnny Cash on the jukebox and cheap inoffensive American diner food. Monday nights are home to the Rough Trade Records pop quiz, Nightmare Club is every Friday (from 11pm), Hangover Lounge every Sunday and look out for the Wills-Moody Jumble Sales on various Sundays. It kicks off from Wednesday through to Sunday with their variety of guest DJs.
