Troubadour

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, little has changed since the 60's in this Old Brompton Road classic. It's up beat, laid back and full of character... oh and a lot of old pots/pans/pictures/signs/wooden object, something for every antiques fan. It opened in 1954, originally as a folk venue, it was a heaving hotbed of talent. Anyone who's anyone has hit the stage; Dylan/Hendrix/Paul Simon/Nutini/Laura Marlin have all played here over the years, and gigs are still going on in the club downstairs (NB great venue for a private party).

Open daily from 9am with the club open at 8pm, it’s a classic brunch spot with food served all day, plus wear a hat on a Tuesday night and pudding is on the house. They have daily specials, but it's comfort wholesome classics, plus the menu is massive so everyone will be happy. The USP here is their generous time keeping with happy hours 4.30-7.30 every day, then from 8pm 10 pm in the club. Drink up & rock out!
