Worship Street Whistling Shop

Inspired by Gangs of New York slash Victorian era it sounds gimmicky but this place is done well, they call it hardcore traditional British 19th Century, whatever that is. This is the second trick up the sleeve of the crew that brought Purl to Marylebone. They're showing off here though as it's much bigger, plus it boasts a Dram Shop; that's benched seating around a bathtub, in a little room which hosts an honesty bar Gin Closet, it's pretty cool.

You are left to your own devices so I'm sure it will see some interesting things. Be sure to take any friends who play the Harmonium, cos they have them; Kid by Radiohead would be perfect on there. The drinks are mostly made in house, and they even have a lab. Ask nicely and he'll show you what's what. Fusions, blends, high pressure this, fermented that, it's Blumentals for boozers in here. BarChick had about 6 Civility Cocktails, delicious, delicate, and dangerous as you can hardly taste the alcohol. The Panaca with all its sage dust was memorable, but since they make things fresh in house everyday, the cocktails will be forever tweaked and tested.
