If, like BarChick, you like the idea of being chased by a group of around 12 irritable bulls then this is the one for you (BarChick’s dad goes every year)! Whilst wearing a white shirt and trousers with a red neckerchief the aim is to try and slap the bull on the back with a newspaper… but avoid touching the horns or tail as you will offend the locals. Make sure you look where you are running as it’s easy to run into things! Website

Head to Brindisa this Fri/Sat because things are going to get very messy indeed… in a sea food kinda way. It’s a traditional Spanish sea-fest so think trays piled high with lobsters, clams, mussels, oysters, giant squid and more all washed down with cava. When you’re done with the shells, throw em on the floor. Go on, get messy.
