Whether you’re on your way to the beach of coming back from a sun, sand and babe filled beach afternoon, you’ll wanna hit Makamaka for a drink or two. Diner and beach party combined, we were so down with their logo that if it’s not BarChick’s wayward little sister then we’ve been drinking too much Cava today. The feel of the place is a pop up gone permanent - that’s probably down to the beach shack vibe but this place sits tight come rain or shine. Take a seat outside to people watch passers-by, or if you’re hitting it late night then hang inside where the DJ pumps tunes.

Their menu is all about burgers and salads and you gotta get the fries to share. The drinks are classic beach party cocktails but don’t miss the “Makamaka” house shot; vodka, passion fruit and spicy syrup - it goes nicely with their legendary Sunday parties that roll into Monday (this is a holiday cruisers heaven alright). While you’re here leave your mark by singing a wooden spoon and pinning it on the wall – BarChick’s there somewhere!
