Some of the lobster tanks are found in the corner in the old cheese room - each one of these magnificent creatures has a luggage tag with its weight - take your pick and you can pay by the pound. The rest of them are under your feet in the basement - all 2,500 kilos of them!

If you’ve been to the Mayfair joint then there aren’t too many surprises on the menu, the choice is still lobster, lobster roll or burger. The cocktails are under B and L listings to pair with your food - The Summer in the City with Absolute Citron Vodka, strawberries, pomegranate, elderflower and rose was our pick of the day. There are now draft beers which come out of china slabs on the wall, and you still get the good old bib to stop you getting mucky (we still use it as a cape).
