This place has been around for years, and it's got a LOT going for it, literally there is stuff everywhere. From skeletons and deflated balloons to fairy lights strung all over the place - conversation won't run dry in these eclectic surroundings. Accolades and press cuttings are stuck all over the walls, there is even one from Horse & Hound (Hugh Grant would be pleased), so if your date is really boring, but they're just too hot to let go then you can busy yourself in these. In here it's Christmas/Easter/Jubilee/Hawaiian holiday/royal wedding celebrations the whole time/at the same time.

Janet is at the helm... and she is a legend. As an ex lawyer she knows what she's doing so it's no surprise this gem has won the Best Bar None Awards three times (four certificates are stuck on the walls but who's counting?). Get stuck into the drinks... sure some are a little sweet (it's all a bit Club Tropicana in here) but Janet makes a perfect Whisky Sour and their Aperol Spritz is spot on... you won't want to stop. This place is a welcome break from the usual haunts in this hood, Boujis? No thanks. Plus it shuts at 3am and we guarantee that even then you won't want to leave, oh and there is a wicked smoking terrace.

Being a kindly host, Janet likes to make sure everyone is well fed and watered: there's popcorn everywhere and when we went she made a big batch of PBJs (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches) and brie and cucumber on crackers, we tucked in. If you're really hungry order off their amazing menu...there's pot noodles, hot dogs and even a meal deal. Classic.
