This addition to the 5CC line up can be found beneath City Road’s Singer Tavern - and this time it’s all about the gin. 

Housed in the old Singer Sewing Machine building, it’s keeping things historical with retro Chesterfields, original tiles and the bare bricks of the original factory house. Couple that with plenty of hidden corners and a 20-foot velvet couch and this dimly lit drinking den is ticking all the right boxes. The drinks list puts batch-produced gins in the spotlight and they’re not f*cking about with G&Ts: these guys mean business so there’s a killer martini selection to boot.   

Kick things off with a round of Alaska’s (gin, Lillet Blanc and green chartreuse) or keep it classic, Bond style. Wanna soak up the booze (those Martinis can do some damage)?  Cauliflower cheese croquettes are a highlight of the banging snack menu and if you’re needing the real deal they serve up kickin’ pub grub courtesy of upstairs.  Here to do it properly? Of course you are.  Take a long lunch, hit their three Martini lunch menu and rock back into work like a boss.
