The Dalston favourite, Chick 'n' Sours is now at Covent Garden! Finally all of your deep fried whole chicken needs are met bang in the centre of town. Boom!
It’s open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. There's all the C&S dishes we love, plus a few new awesome favourites - the pineapple and peanut strater is a unconventional match made in heaven, and the nachos are insane. Get down on the weekend for one a brunch bun with fried thigh, gochujang mayo, bacon, avocado, Asian slaw and sriracha sour cream that’s topped off with a fried egg. What hangover? They’re doing lunch-time takeaway, too - so you can skip the packed sandwich. Hallelujah.
The new venue is bigger and slicker than the East restaurant - this one's in the basement, with sexy low lighting from beautiful glass pebble chandeliers (date night winner). However, there's still loads of classic Chick 'n' Sours touches, those mismatching vintage small plates and the retro 80's posters of cassette players and Babycham deers.
BarChick’s there for their House Sour which will have blackberries, locally sourced lavender, lime and black pepper vinegar.
