Barchick Says
Hidden round the back of Pizza East and Chicken Shop you’ll find this wicked new burger joint (do we need more… hell yeah!) in what can only be described as a corrugated iron shack in the corner of a car park. It’s rustic and kinda freaky late at night, but with burgers this good, you’d cross any desert to get one.
Grab a cider or a beer from the cupboard in the corner, or order a milkshake from behind the bar – do this, they’re insane. Pull up a stool at the wooden sharing table and get stuck into the cheese burger: they are mouth-wateringly good (and cheap), made with some of the best meat in town with cheese, shredded lettuce, beef tomato and pickles. The accompanying crinkle cut chips or onion fries are equally as good, get both (we dare you). They’re also offering the Dirty Breakfast: we’re talking home cured bacon topped with over easy eggs, home-made sausage patties and glazed buns. All day fun… we will see you there in some loose fitting pants.
