Bit of a sleeping giant, Freuds. Alex James made it his own before he went all girly and concentrated more on cheese than getting smashed up in Soho. Nowadays it’s probably more filled with foreign students than rock stars, but that’s no bad thing if you’re out on the prowl.
It’s got a good simple vibe, basement job, no David Collins interiors here. It’s very chilled, great value cocktails and the bartenders are as friendly as you can be with multiple piercings.
