Barchick Says
You either arrive way too early or way too late for a train, which is why you will all LOVE the bar at the Grand Imperial. Not only is this Feng Shui’d bar located in Victoria (we estimated 6 mins from most platforms), but it also boasts a pretty original menu, and is home to some insanely strong and authentic Chinese spirits.
Sit at the bar and get our favourite, the Bling a Ling: Bombay Sapphire Gin, green apple syrup, elder-flower, lemon and apple juice. Or if you’re into your beer then you need to sip on one of the beer cocktails, BarChick liked the Blossom Hill. Best to stay clear of the Breen cocktail, unless you need some mouthwash!
If you’re feeling kinda hardcore and into the Asian spirit then order a round of some specialty Chinese Drinks. BarChick went for Juigui Liqueur. Weighing in at 53%, this will really sort the men from the boys!
Forget Yo Sushi in the station, the dim sum here is bound to make you drool, and won’t break the bank. All delicious, from the foie gras and beef dumplings, to the more alternative dark chocolate dumpling for dessert..
