Stick NYC Pegu Club trained Alistair and DJ Andy together and you have yourself some solid foundations for a good bar. Happiness Forgets is all about good drinks, and good vibes, nothing too fancy, or in your face. There’s no sign, it’s just hidden below a little restaurant in Hoxton Square. Look for Yelo Thai, and you’re close. All laid back, low lit and sexy, it’s a small Oasis away from the edgy haircuts and art collectives that usually fill this hood.

It’s the perfect place for some laid back cocktails after work, or for warming up before a big night out. The music picks up at night and if you have enough of Alistair’s cocktails you’ll be dancing in no time. Each drink is made with a lot of love and affection, you won’t get offered a Cosmo down here. Our favorites were the Absinthe based Green Beast, and the Perfect Storm, but if it’s hot outside, then it’s all about the Breton Cider. Not big cooks these guys so just call upstairs to order in delicious Thai. What’s not to love?
