Set away from many of the rat runs around Chelsea, this is occupied by the army of local yummy mummies (probably most afternoons). Bright and airy with chrome fittings, large hanging lamps and a beautiful bar for perching at, this is definitely one for the ladies. If you prefer not to be overheard take one of the sofas or a breezy table by the window, if you are in the mood for a party occupy one of the long tables, or if you are feeling flash, the private room at the top.

This place will keep you entertained for hours, and why the rush; BarChick didn’t want to leave, especially with a cocktail menu like theirs that will take you a while to reach the bottom of. Plus the bartenders are more than willing to go off piste with requests.

Do order the Chase Marmalade Champagne Cocktail or the Rhubarb Cocktail, both were seriously tasty. Accompany them with some of the small sharing plates, they are more chick friendly and you get to try more (tick, tick), do order the crostini and the grilled skewers, they were damn good. If you feel like making a day of it come here for the Sunday roast and get stuck into their huge wine list, perfect.
