Sure Peckham’s got a big-time food scene, late-night party pubs and enough grit to give Hackney a run for its money, but cocktails bars? Not so much. Locally made Little Bird Gin changed all that with Pedler - the gin/cocktail /brunch/coffee capital of SE and the first place in London you could eat gin sausages.

Local hero Taskin Muzaffer, once Director of Drake & Morgan, is the mastermind behind it all from the killer cocktail list, fancy antique yard decor and big-time menu (alongside Head Chef Gareth Crosby). Pedler's all about fresh and seasonal, so expect frizzle chicken and roasted sardines alongside their Little Bird Perfect G&T, Peck'em Martini and other cocktails borrowed from their mates at Shrub & Shutter.

Like an early start?  The brunch menu means business with shakshouka or cheesy grits & gin sausage, but expect your grapefruit juice to be spiked with tequila, Paloma style. If you were waiting for a reason to hit the south, this is it. It’s all local vibes and lazy days - you’ll find BarChick there from 10am, grating horseradish into Bloody Marys.
