Move over bowling there’s a new ball in town. It’s smaller, lighter and it only takes two of you to tango. Ping pong is all the rage now, and you can now enjoy it inside, with a drink in your hand, bat in the other at the Earl’s Court bar ‘Ping’.
Things look a little funky in here, with walls filled with street art, celebs getting their game on and mirrors so you can catch your serve face. ‘I LOVE DUST’ are behind the décor who are the masterminds behind MeatLiquor’s edgy ceiling art, so you know it’s gonna look pretty f*cking good.
Whether you’re Andy Murray or Rik Waller, ping pong is suitable for anyone. Plus, after a few of their aptly named cocktails… Chandler Ping anyone? You may even get that c*cky streak we all require and turn out to be quite the pro… (or probably just annoyingly and unnecessarily competitive). Of course this is West so expect beautiful people and if you wanna chat to them then just bat some balls their way “by mistake”… done. Ping pong is far more sociable than bowling; we don’t suggest you lob a 10 ball over the lane.
It’s a safe bet you’re going to work up an appetite after all that running around after the ball (come on… it happens), so get stuck into their selection of seriously fine pizzas made by Bruno Elias of Pizza Italian Academy (all bow down). Don’t be expecting Hawaiian or plain old pepperoni, hell no. Bruno’s got creative with his flavours throwing flavours around such as caramelized pear, cod ceviche and even roast potatoes (?!) in the mix. Go on a Monday and for 15 quid you can have all you can eat, PLUS a free Slush Puppy Margarita… DEAL.
