Head round back of Lost Angel to their new addition to the venue, a modern steakhouse and Victorian gin palace named “Gaslight Grill”. Decked out with a huge skylight with elaborate copper chains, leather seating, a small vintage corner bar and a huge painting of a gentleman that looks a bit like Freddie Mercury… why not? Go here for some damn fine cocktails, and get stuck into their huge gin list. We’re talking world craft gins, bath tub gins, home-infused gins and London gins… take your pick. The steak here is top notch as is their potted Sussex crab. And if you count yourself as a bit of a beast then we challenge you to try and finish one of their mixed platters coming in at £90 and filled with all the meat you could imagine.

If it’s sunny then why not move things outside and take a seat in their cute courtyard, there’s a bar outside too, so no effort to get a refill… nice.
