Barchick Says

The Henry Root letters (if you haven’t read them, do)
were the brainchild of famous satirist William Donaldson, a.k.a bad boy,
player, Sloane, legend. So when the boys behind this Chelsea wine bar
discovered he had lived next door they decided to base their bar on him and his
extraordinary life.

Open all day everyday, this place is off to a good start,
throw in a 200 strong wine list, and an insanely talented chef and you’ll see
why it has rapidly become BarChick’s new best friend.

Sit in the ridiculously comfy barstools at the bar and
get stuck into the wines, share a caraf, max it out and have a magnum (size
matters right?). Into cocktails? Then the boys from the Little Black Gallery
next door have a feature cocktail, when we were there it was The Kate Moss Caner, although no one could tell us what went in it.

Have a charcuterie board, have the potted Dorset crab, or
if you are on the tea then you’ll need a slice of the homemade cake. You
probably won’t find yourselves swinging from the chandeliers but take your Mum,
a mate, or a laid back date and you’ll be in heaven.
