Small from the outside but larger than life on the inside, this pub is a popular venue for those looking for something a little less badass banker and a little more country lad. It’s not a chain, the prices aren’t gonna break the bank and with rooms for every character and every occasion it’s an easy choice to meet mates/clients/escorts in.

There is the main pub bar with Meantime on tap where most of the crowds hang, but slink your way around the back to the liquor bar. There may be less choice and no cocktails but the service is faster and in Summer a jug of Pimm’s will never let you down. Downstairs is the function room with a private bar and cinema and theres a pool room upstairs . Order your drink and head out to the beer garden where the fun/wind down can really begin! It’s a pretty walled garden filled with tables and benches that fill up fast, so arrive early if you want to grab a seat. When summer time takes off it’s BBQ heaven and hog roasts can be found on Saturdays. If it rains they got you covered: dive into the barn next door, all mismatched pictures and high ceilings complete with its own bar which you can hire for private parties.
