Barchick Says
It’s the kind of place you see, and decide to take an unnecessary pit stop at. The staff are easy, smiley (but not in a Disney way) and the dark leather sofas teamed with table and chairs create a cool apartment kinda feel. Best seat in the house has to be at the piano and the quirkiest object award goes to the fish bowl TV…
The barmen have a fine choice of cocktails, with homemade ingredients and seasonal concoctions, they like to experiment and keep things fresh. Quotes on the menu from the likes of Michael Barrymore “Eatin’ and drinkin’ gets the brain a thinkin” will amuse if conversation happens to dry up and the music will keep you all happy. There is an adjoining restaurant to qualm any tummy rumblings, though BarChick preferred to prop herself up at the bar and ordered in the tempura prawns to share.
The fine selection of rums, whiskies and bourbons make for a perfect party, and for those lagging behind the Espresso Martini is spot on. This is the perfect after work spot and come the weekend this is where BarChick would want her brunch. Ps. Ask for our favourite barman Ben.
