This Indian place is like the posh cousin to those spots on Brick Lane, it's a Michelin starred South Indian restaurant and bar. It's the kind of place you come to to be spoilt or spoil others, but no it’s not flashy, it's cool, calm and collected. The waiters make those kaftans look sexy and the Bollywood beats work.
They have over 50 types of whisky, 20 types of beer, and a massive wine list. We loved the Raspberry Martini and their Qojito was so good, you'll want more than one. You could get carried away with the bar snack menu, crispy fried silver fish and the tamarind glazed chicken widgets more than lived up to the Michelin star standards… and that’s not even to mention the black cod and tempura asparagus and carrots. Forget the £600 flights, and the vaccinations; you'll get a little piece of India right here.
