First and foremost, THIS IS A ROCKABILLY BAR. Grab your Stetson, your cowboy boots and your cowboy and prepare for the unpredictable. A fiver in at the weekend, this is a theme bar that goes the whole Harley Davidson. It’s got plenty of room to swing your partner, though BarChick left the dance floor to the impressive locals on this occasion.

Groups of teenage mates tuck into big food and sugary cocktails and there’s more mullets than a Caribbean fish store. We drank Piña Coladas (mostly Nesquik) and an Orgasm (BarChick’s had better). Find dixie flags, wild west memorabilia, cowboy boots, saddles, plenty of dark wood, fairy lights, old fashioned posters and a stage with some boys rocking around. Yee-haa?

Inexplicably, upstairs BarChick also found a heavy metal band rocking out, and a whole different bar populated by ageing rockers. If either of these is what you want then you’ve found it, though it’s not everyone’s cup of sarsaparilla.
