Gazebo Wine Garden

BARCHICK SAYS

Step off what can be the seedy strip of Kings Cross into the fairy light garden that is Gazebo.  Round up the ladies or gentlemen for the ultimate wine time, with over 55 by the glass and 300 by the bottle you should find something to suit most.

The staff are an eccentric bunch of performers and artists who divide their time between this garden oasis and the stage, nice. There are leafy walls and live moss grows amongst photo collages of the Royal Family with poodle heads, to keep you as entertained as your palette.

Not a wino? Well then, Aasha, the Sydney superstar female bartender will shake you cocktails with big flavours, as you chow down on some modern cuisine. BarChick rocked Gazebo on a Wednesday night, which is famed for Mr Cheese and his cheese trolley raffle, a real crowd pleaser.  The word on the street is Gazebo does an incredible Girls Picnic, akin to a weekend ladies long lunch that is sure to end up as a drinking-bubbles-all-day-long-at-the-races type of day. BarChick loved the help yourself chalk wall in the loos and signed off (semi) sober.

Dog friendly, intimate seating, perfect for a date. Oh and the famous veal & chorizo sausage roll with spicy tomato jam is a must!
