Stepping into Bestie you immediately notice the bright, contemporary design of the place, but what’s more fun, is it feels like you’ve been teleported all the way to Germany. This is a friendly little sausage and beer parlour in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown.

They’ve got a selection of both local and German beers and beer cocktails. Inspired by German street food, you’ll also get to chow down on some of the best currywurst and sauerkraut this side of Bavaria.

This hotspot was crowdfunded (we like!), and maybe thanks to that, Bestie has become a sweet local and community-driven neighbourhood hangout, perfect for a late afternoon lunch with beers and good company. Come for an easy-going lunch or dinner from Monday to Saturday or hit it up for late night munchies from the take out window on Friday and Saturday nights until 3 am. Just look for the neon sausage.
