I’m from the Black Country in the West Midlands.

I brew and own Beavertown Brewery and Duke’s Brew and Que.
…of course Duke’s, we have a huge selection of great beers on tap, keg and bottle as well as some brilliant mixologists knocking out awesome cocktails!
How do you like your Martini?
an Espressotini hands down.
a beer from the Midlands called Batham’s Bitter…You can’t stop drinking it once you start. Delicious!
Bad ass barman/Rock n Roll moment?
shaking a cocktail and the whole thing flying out my hands…hence why I stick to the beer!

Nope, never done it on a bar!?!
What's next for you?
I want to keep pushing Beavertown in to great Pubs, bars and restaurants. Keep pushing the quality of the beers and keep stimulating people through the tastes from within the beers. Duke’s number two??
Best/worst chat up lines you've heard at a bar?
Worst chat up line: Do you like Chicken? Suck this it’s foul!
Best chat up line: A girl gave one of our bar managers a roll up cigarette the other day and said her number was on the inside and that he could either smoke it or give her a call. He loved it! So he unravelled it and gave her a call. It worked!!
What did you want to be as a kid?
I wanted to be what most boys do when we’re young… A Biochemist…Joking…I wanted to be a footballer!!

If you were to make a barchick cocktail, what would you put in it?
“The Choo Choo”
Based around the Smoked Porter I brew called Smog Rocket. So
I’d use 50ml of my Beavertown Smog Rocket Smoked Porter shaken with 25ml Kracken Black Spiced Rum, 25ml Disarno Amaretto, 1/2 squeezed lemon, a dash of egg white and 10ml of sugar syrup.
Byron and I just knocked it up and it’s delicious.
