Hello again US election, who’s gonna get it, Obama or Mitt Romney? Who gets ya vote? Either way, don’t be biting your nails at home, you can get all American and drink through it… sounds a plan man.
Duke’s Brew & Que are holding a night for “GO”Bama (and that man called Mitch) at their joint opening at 4pm and closing 4am… 12 hours of goodness. The food menu will be available with last orders being called at 10pm but there are also side dishes and burgers running until midnight, score! Want a seat? They are taking reservations from 6pm, do it. You can watch the story unfold on their 42” plasma screen, you won’t miss one bead of sweat on that beast. Entry is a fiver after 10pm if you’re not eating (but why wouldn’t you be, the food here is BANGING!).
Call them on +44 (20) 3006 0795 if you want more info.
Starting from 10pm till late (or at least until they know what the results are). These guys will be having light hearted debates to win drinks and entry is £5 (unless you’ve booked dinner before-hand… you know what to do). They’ll have a lot of coffee flowing if it gets seriously late as well as bar snacks, Beavertown beer and donkey and elephant shooters so you can vote with a drink…NICE.
This American themed bar and restaurant are gonna be providing all you can eat ribs plus unlimited beer and coffee (it’s gonna be a late one) and of course cocktails for 200 guests. Hell, they are even gonna be doing breakfast if it takes that long! Tickets are £65 but we think that’s a small price to pay for such a spread, pay the piper and let’s go!
Expect USA bunting, a stag wearing a Stetson, some very spicy Romney burgers and some Barrack Bombers… these guys are GOING for it. Plus there will be some comedy going on down in the basement, bit of US politics and presidential candidate banter… obvs.
The Stafford London – American Bar
This is gonna be a night to remember, starting at 9pm till it’s all done and dusted. Anyone is welcome whether you’re on your jays or with a whole squad. They will be ready with neat drinks for the nervous and potent cocktails to, as they say, make you see stars and stripes… we’ll take five. Plus there will be food to soak all these up, American style naturally, prepped by executive chef Brendan Flydes… yum. There ain’t no booking available so turn up prompt and get comfy, it’s gonna be a long night.
If you don’t really want to be watching all this live and would rather happily wake up with the results on the front page, then maybe you should hit Soho theatre the night before for some pre-election stand-up comedy with Rich Fulcher at 7.30pm. Tickets are a tenner and you can expect a lot of laughs for that. He will be examining the highlights and lowlights of the US presidential race, giving his own predictions… don’t miss it.
These guys are getting comfy, bringing down the big screens and squishing in a whole load of sofas (get there early if you wanna get one!). There will be hot dogs, twinkies (obviously!) and other American sh*t available. It’s free to get in… GO.
