Dalston's award-winning agaveria Hacha has made the move down the Vicky Line with this bar (and shop) in the heart of Brixton Market.

This South London sequel has parallels to the East London OG (think the migration of its signature crystal-clear Mirror Margarita serve and its chic Mexican aesthetics). But for this second venture, tequila icon Deano Moncrieffe and his kick-ass partner in biz and life Emma Murphy set their sights on serving up a dose of philanthropy alongside that infamous revolving selection of 25 agave spirits on the back wall. The power couple have put underprivileged members of BAME communities at the top of their priority list at Hacha Brixton, mirroring the ethos of their Equal Measures project by providing employment opportunities, education, mentorship and paid work experience to out-of-work members of the Equal Measures scheme. Legends.

You'll find the bar on the first floor of Hacha's Market Row digs, serving up regularly rotating agave-based goodness (the Salted Pomegranate and Ginger Margarita, with ginger-infused Patrön Tequila, house-made sour mix, rosa vermouth and salted pomegranate liqueur, is a real treat). Come hungry and smash a few orders of next-level tacos from the kitchen, run by Mexican cuisine specialist Nopalito. Hacha's also brought a shop to the ground floor, where you can buy flights and bottles of the best tequilas and mezcals alongside a range of those Mirror Margs, including some new infusions you'll want to grace your tastebuds with ASAP.
