Gibbston Valley wines have set up shop in Arrowtown, a picturesque little miner's town straight out of the Gold Rush era. From the outside this place doesn’t stand out at all, the shop front seems to blend in. But head inside and straight to the back… to where the magic happens.

Plush leather armchairs and floor to ceiling shelves stacked with wine - opt for a tasting or take the full bottle, the choice is yours. We drank the Gewurztraminer and Riesling and both delivered as promised.

The staff know their sh*t and can answer any questions you have. Peckish? There’s a great selection of nibbles to keep you from falling over, and they’re open from 7am – 6pm for everything from breakfast to charcuterie.
