London, Vegas, Miami and... Amsterdam - yep, SUSHISAMBA has pitched up in some majorly cool spots. The Netherlands version doesn't quite boast the views of its London counterpart, but it is positioned on the seventeenth-century UNESCO World Heritage Singelgracht. And it's next to a canal. Obviously. As well as serving its epic mix of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, SUSHISAMBA is known for its cocktail prowess. If you're eating, arrive early and head for an aperitif - or sack off dinner and just sink a few drinks in the swanky bar next to the restaurant.
The vibe is all very hip Latin American - the music had BarChick wiggling on our bar stool. Sultry Latin curves also abound in the design. The circular bar makes an island in the centre and hot orange booths line the walls. It might sound a bit MccyDs but we promise it's badass. Cocktail-wise, you'll find all their global classics; thought fusion was limited to the food? You thought wrong.
If you're hungry and bar snacks won't cut it, head to the restaurant for an equally glam dining affair. It'll set ya back some bunce but the Wagyu gyoza will blow your mind. Oh, and make sure to check out that iconic SUSHISAMBA Orange Tree. You might recognise it - the design originated in London and reflects their passion for nature-influenced design.
