Holetown street party on a Sunday brings big crowds of locals and tourists, usually loitering around the karaoke on the street (dare you). Once you’ve enjoyed/heckled the singers, it’s time to head across to Lexy’s Piano Bar. It might not look much from outside but BarChick has bumped into Freddie Flintoff, Jodie Kidd, Jeremy Clarkson and plenty more on various visits.
With live bands, music, song requests and booze, it’s a damn good party bar. Lexy (Alex Santoriello) is the owner here, he’s pretty well known for his singing in Broadway, so if you’re lucky he may whack out a tune, but if not the musicians here will more than suffice. BarChick hit the dance floor when a saxophone reggae version of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky was whipped out… well played. The bartenders here are game for a laugh too, so schmooze with them and get the shots in… they even let BarChick get behind the bar (wise move)!
