Sandy Lane is where all the celebs hangout. Enter The Monkey Bar, hidden on the lower level of the hotel with murals of monkeys all over the shop, no surprises there.

We like to head here for sun downers or before dinner, any kinda pre-lash really. With grand high ceilings, a marble bar top and a serious booze selection with a menu to prove it, tuck into the complimentary bar snacks and let Jamaal fix you a drink.

We had the Rumhatten, a twist on the Manhattan (obvs), and it was worryingly drinkable. This place is open until 2am, or whenever the last guest leaves, nice touch... let’s see how long we can keep these drinks flowing. Or better that, get a room and stay the night.
