As the name implies these guys are big on their gin. Located out the back of Rocco & Sanny (or accessible from Friedrichstrasse) this small speakeasy style bar is livelier than others of a similar description. BarChick rocked up and made friends almost instantly, mingling and weaving amongst taxidermy, hot boys and gin fanatics (just another day in the office then).

This spot pays homage to the intricacies of the housewives’ favourite bev. Check out artwork featuring quotes such as “The proper union of gin and tonic is a great and sudden glory; it is one of the happiest marriages on earth and one of the shortest lived”… deep. Chandeliers drape over the bar and there’s an old gramophone blaring out Nina Simone. Seating is scarce but standing isn’t a chore, the upbeat atmosphere is enjoyable to absorb even on foot.

These guys have a whole back bar full of gin, with an amazing cocktail list sculpted around it. We drank Schlichte Martinis, because it’d be rude not to.
