Wild West meets modern day Berlin? Uh, hell yeah! In a city that's all about urban grit and borderline frightening techno, Stagger Lee is something different. It’s a New Orleans saloon with swinging doors, an old piano, little tables and dark corners to snuggle into and listen to classic blues music. There's even an old-timey cash register, naturally. Smokers, you’ll love the indoor smoking parlour out back.

Cool cats will recognise the name from a Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds song called, - you guessed it - Stagger Lee. In it the protagonist shoots a bartender, harsh. Here, the cocktails are so banging that no-one would dare. 

The cocktails will take you back, way back, like the Stagger Lee Julep served in the requisite metal cup, of course. They have a sick collection of bourbon too, so you can really get in the spirit. The crowd is a fine mix: couples, small groups of mates, those in to drink and run, others in for the duration. No food here, so line your stomach before you arrive if you don’t want a pre-midnight smack down.
