After a couple of nights painting the town red, BarChick needed freshening up, and this place more than did the trick. The white tiled walls are clinical yet calming, the rustic wooden tables are appealing and the space is bright and airy, even plants grow inside.
BarChick took to the terrace, donned a deck chair, and kicked back with a refreshing Lychee & Rose Collins (Hendrick’s Gin, rose syrup, lychee juice and lemon juice) while the barges floated on past. Stay and eat, they’ve got a farm to table philosophy and man it’s fresh, from nutritious salads to Dexter beef, it’s all good.
As Rustic and innocent upstairs might be, its alter ego is hiding down below. Hit this bar with all your mates, it’s big and begs to be partied in. We say reserve a booth and hit the cocktails, you’ll need them for the open mic. Oh and don’t be freaked out by all the huge heads, just put your shades on and you’ll fit right in.
The best parties happen in a kitchen, everyone knows that.
