Previously described as the ‘only bar in Kemp Town’ this little spot is a bit of a local hero. Located off the main road (St James’), wander down this residential street until you spot a cool looking deck with a sea view, nice. With allusions rife to its cinematic doppleganger Brighton Rocks (1947) this place is hot property with those in–the-know.

Check out the collection of classic cocktails as well as some homemade creations on the blackboards above the bar, as well as some banging bottles of beers. Apparently this is the place to be during Gay Pride as the whole of St James’ transforms into a wild street party, epic.

This place usually has events in line with what’s happening locally in Brighton, for example during the Chocolate Festival we drank a whole host of chocolate cocktails courtesy of these guys.
