Half way up the super steep Park Street you'll probably find yourself panting and in need of a drink. We've got just the place. Two Georgian town houses and one old bread factory have been combined together, creating an awesome upstairs / downstairs, bar /restaurant /café and roof terrace. Head in and up the stairs to the Champagne bar, with the cuckoo clock and hanging deer head giving it that grand manor feel. Get comfy in the library or relax with a whisky in the study which could be more your thing, with its deep leather chairs and sophisticated elegance. At the back of the house you'll find the rocking roof terrace, get a table and enjoy a killer view of the Bristol skyline.
At the bar they know what they're talking about when it comes to Champagne, most of them are small batch imports and the cocktails rocked. Go for the Bellissimo, made with Plymouth Gin, Chase Rhubarb Liqueur, apple liqueur, peach bitters & finished with a flourish of Bisol Superior Cartizze Prosecco. If you get here late, the café downstairs is the best place to hang, although they don’t do cocktails you can get mixers and beers and the vibe is chilled.
Oh and check the cellar on the way to the loos, it's locked and bolted but through the rails you can geek out on their serious stock of Champagne and booze!
