The Viennese are so outdoorsy; it’s hard to swing a cat without hitting a cyclist or a tree. Café Kunsthalle, (technically the museum's café) is an oasis in the city, with a lovely covered huge deck with communal tables, pots of lavender and couches.
Go for brunch on a Sunday when the DJ is playing and stay and work through their menu of sun downers, like the Orange Thyme Mojito, or Gingerbread Daiquiri with Bacardi 5yr rum. The green theme continues through the menu with the sage lime prosecco and their naturally flavoured kombucha drinks.
The crowd is young and good looking, even our waiter looked like Prince William and was just as charming. Pull up a deck chair on the lawn and chill out, that's what Café Kunsthalle is all about. Check this if you ain't convinced.
