On level 1 of Pier 7 Tower, we got all nostalgic entering this rustic world of raw concrete walls, wooden tables and one smokin’ central vintage sports den. This is an old-school mix tape with clipboard menus, tin buckets, cocktails in camping cups and good tunes. Fume seeps cool, laidback and happy vibes.

Hit up the Desert Donkey first (vodka, fresh raspberry, coriander, homemade ginger beer and chili) to fire up your appetite, as you want to be hungry. They’re a neighbourhood eatery for an unneighbourly city, with home-style food and signatures such as braised beef cheek and the best mac & cheese in Dubai. We also love their crispy duck, watermelon and cashew salad for healthy days. Luckily, the sharing menu means you can try everything.

Affordable with good comfort food and cocktails, and set against bangin’ marina views. We’re coming back.
