Only Fools & Horses probs has you thinking of Peckham as the home of wheelin' and dealin', but the goods are all totally legit at this wicked neighbourhood bar.

The Funkidory fam has kitted the place out with cool mid-century and '70s accents, all paired with a soundtrack of vibey tunes coming from the record player in the corner. The pandemic had them pivoting harder than the cast of Friends, and now this chill spot on Peckham Rye is a record/bottle shop and cafe by day, and a bad-ass cocktail bar by night.

Plenty of spots to sit in this 30-cover joint, but grab a seat at the bar so you can chat to owner Sergio while he mixes up your drinks. This Italian is what hospitality is all about and he'll make sure ya feel like one of the Peckham family. There isn't a bad drink on the menu (we checked) but the star is 100% the Rye Lane. If a Manhattan made sweet sweet love to a Dirty Martini, this is what you'd get: the perfect hybrid of sweet and savoury, poured into a frosted coupe over a juicy nocarella olive. So damn good, we bought a bottle to take home with us.
