Any description is going to fall short of this epic bar/club/restaurant/shisha bar. It is completely over the top, bursting with extravagant opulence; indoor palm trees tower high above the bar, and the dance floor is filled with Moscow’s elite and oh-so-trendy which is flanked by interactive screens showing dance videos which are mounted on a kind of Statue of Liberty. Sounds mixed up and insane? Well that’s because it is.

The dance floor is lined with large, round, wooden tables which overflow with shisha pipes and overly dolled up Russian women. And you can’t forget about the indoor fountains, because all bars have those, right?

Gypsy is a far cry from tasteful - but it is an experience that if you are in the area is a must. They run a pretty hard-core door policy (called Face Control in Moscow), but BarChick didn’t have an issue (not that that’s much to go on).
