This is one of the few bars in TO that have that old, English pub-feel. This Church-Wellesley haunt in TO's Gay Village is cosy, warm and mega friendly, making it prime local material.

Like it says on the tin, they’ve got your hangover covered. The drinks are nothing fancy, lots of craft beers - we’re fans of Beau’s (Vankleek Hill, Ontario). But what you want to stop the head spins and shame from last night’s misbehaviour is one of their Caesars; they serve the best in town.

It’s a mixed crowd: after-work drink folks, friends catching up, a couple of dates sharing nachos (we recommend). Upstairs is another dining and bar area, usually quieter. The real clincher though is the patio, our chill hangout come summer. Funnily enough, this spot is known for being the best place for a first date and, equally, the best place to dump someone…or both, depending how the night goes.
