Name a more delicious combo than slow-cooked smoky meat and craft cocktails... we'll wait. Pour us an Amalfi Margarita cos there's some sausage in the smoker with our name on, and boy are we ready.
The HotBox in question is the 1-tonne Rotisserie Smoker. First comes the dry-rubbing, then it gets low & slow. Get your mind out the gutter - we're talking about cuts of meat like pork ribs, brisket and Tomahawk chop. They're dry rubbed then cooked slowly on a low heat so the result is epic melt-in-the-mouth BBQ. Combine with cocktails like the mezcal-and-chili-laced Smokey Gonzales and you know you're onto a winner. Only got eyes for beer with your BBQ? No worries, HotBox have a great selection on tap as well as some decent bottles/cans. For anyone who wants to make a night of it, head down to 46 & Mercy where the cocktails are damned creative and DJs spin tunes while you sip away and snack on more smoked treats. The kinda place we'd BB-queue for, no doubt.
