After the success of the Euston Tap, its new naughty little sister venue opened in the mirror image lodge across the street. Sharing the same principles as its beer-loving sibling: you won’t find your typical cider brands in here, which is definitely a good thing. They don’t have an affiliation with any breweries so they’ve just picked the best that they could find, and the ciders here are smashing... none of this bow-time rubbish.
Yes, there’s an iron staircase that leads to a seating area upstairs, but luckily the bar is downstairs so if you’re struggling to make it back up after your last pint, then don’t even try. It was hard enough for BarChick whilst balancing the first pint sober. And maybe avoid the Calvados/stairs combination altogether. Oh and you can get bottles to take away too!
