Look for the restrooms downstairs at Polpo and you’re heading in the right direction…although this underground Negroni bar aint no washroom. It’s Soho’s hottest hangout, the Negroni Bar, serving delicious Cicheti; what the Venetians call little bar snacks, just don’t call it tapas ok?

It's restaurant rudeboy Russell Norman’s new delinquents' dungeon; though there are no prisoners here, you might not want to leave. Ply yourselves with Campari cocktails, or take it in a different Italian direction with an Aperol, Campari's slightly sweeter sister. This is the perfect place to hang out whilst waiting for a table at the ever popular Polpo upstairs , it definitely beats queuing in the street, though you’ll probably be having too much fun down here to bother going back upstairs. Restaurants may have been the new clubs but now bars are the new restaurants, and we all know that eating is cheating unless, of course, it’s a small venetian snack!
