Just like at MEATliquor, don’t expect to waltz in here and get a table, head down at least an hour before you actually want to eat to get your name down and they’ll ring you (there are no bookings… GET IN LINE). We had a meal at 10pm, and boy had we worked up an appetite. They didn’t hold back or disappoint, they were ready to sort out our hunger with meat upon meat, sauces, fried sides and cocktails… their catch phrase isn’t “let there be meat” for nothing. Everything is slow-cooked so it’s all melt in the mouth and it's pretty dreamy.
This is an authentic American smokehouse, with large grills on show, slabs of meat hanging and the smell of sizzling juices in the air, we thought we’d died and gone to heaven. The menu is huge and the portions are even bigger. Want something out of the ordinary rather than the run of the mill hamburger? Try their infamous doughnut burger - two steak burgers flame grilled over hickory, melted jack cheese, smoked peppered bacon, dirty sauce and deep fried crispy onions stuffed between two sweet glazed doughnuts served with fried pickles and fries… JESUS.
The cocktails on offer are the classics teamed up with some of their own creations such as the Dark & Creamy Float with Gosling's Black Seal Rum, spicy ginger beer and ice cream, and of course they’ve got a good selection of craft beers and ales that you can team up with Boilermakers or Picklebacks (YES our favourite). We say get some Margaritas in, a group of your mates, a serious appetite and party!
