High ceilings, massive windows, exposed bricks and metal pipes. In a building that formally housed a huge printing press, this place is always buzzing, and restaurant reservations don't always come easy. Fear not, the bar is always first come first served, plus they have a drinking ledge, perfect for taking a perch at and getting your flirt on.
Talk to Gabe, the longtime head bartender who loves taking classics and turning them on their heads. We were blown away by the Divorce Italian Style, a mouth-watering concoction that was reminiscent of an Old Fashioned. Bulleit 95 rye, Amaro CioCiaro, Dimmi and orange bitters made this drink one of the best we had in the city! Not sure what you want? Gabe will see right to it.
You can eat too: grab a plate of super fresh oysters or their house specialty, poutine which is chunky fries smothered with cheese and gravy. Too much? Well it’s the mixed nuts with herbed honey and chili flakes for you then.
A striking drawing of Don Quixote looks out over the dining room, eyeing the walk-past the open kitchen. Check the tattoo covered chefs en route to the bathroom, which is shared with the swanky club, Harlot, in the back part of the building. Come darkness, the music pounds through the walls so be sure to dance the night away.
