A regular hangout for Sydney’s bright eyed, bushy-tailed hipsters, this Mexican style party pub is a neat little surprise in Redfern.

With tequila stacked as high as the ceiling on shelves behind the bar, those making the drinks try not to incur injury when perusing the top shelf. Get yourself served and then find a table in the courtyard out back… a tricky task considering this place is hardly ever without people.

The extensive Bloody Menu calls for Sunday boozing and ingredients vary from wasabi and BBQ sauce to sesame seeds and olives. The staff are young, fun and will totally understand that you’re here to cure last night’s hangover. If you get hungry be sure to try the tacos or stop by on a Friday night for $5 tequila shots and $10 Margaritas, they pretty much spell the start of a crazy-ass night.
