The Laundry literally used to be just that - a steam press laundry from 1904 'til 2014. Now it’s a relaxed day-to-night restaurant and bar with an awesome terrace. Informal: yes. Uninspired? Certainly not. The vibe is totally chill, but you can tell serious effort has been put into ensuring quality is pressed into everything on offer.

It’s the kinda place you find yourself effortlessly grazing from day to night. Start on the early afternoon Aperol Spritzes, segue easily into a slamming Sauvignon Blanc, and before you know it, the dusk has descended and you’re cracking on with Salted Caramel Espresso Martinis. Don’t worry - the menu suits every taste so you can accompany your drinks with some seasonal sustenance and avoid the kebab on the way home. Winning all round!
