The Ivy has a little sister and it's pretty glam with marble-topped tables and walls hung with botanical drawings - but the trump card is the garden itself. Think stone fountains, leafy trellises and wicker chairs topped with striped cushions. It’s has long lunches written all over it. There’s even a log fire to cosy up next to and blankets on hand in case the temperature drops.

Hungry?  Most the people here will be nibbling on lettuce or chia seeds but there's crispy duck salad on pak choi to herb-crusted lamb with fondant potato if you're feeling wild. The food is all delicious.  

We're here for a daytime drinking session and the cocktails, that come served up in copper tins and china cups, don't disappoint. Drink the aptly-named Sloane Ranger (vodka, green chartreuse and apple cider) and push the boat out with round (after round) of Champagne-heavy Ivy Garden Royales. Because life’s too short. The service is as slick as the Ivy itself, the crowd heavy on hot posh girls and it gets pretty busy, so if you want in you'd better get booking.
