A recent facelift has transformed the once over-draped and frilly lobby lounge into something a little more modern. The Lounge is a bit more masculine, borderline man cave, even. Grey walls, with clean lines and uber comfy chairs are filled with well suited business excecs breaking or making deals.

Although the days of high tea here have passed, they still pay homage to the tradition with their awesome selection of tea-infused cocktails. The Soma with sweet tea infused vodka, fresh lemonade and bitters was light and refreshing, pair that with a plate of French macaroons, our kinda tea.

Located almost on top of the Nob Hill, thankfully they have valet parking as street parking is rare. But feel free to brave the walk up, and later roll back down.
